Registration

Registration to the Leadership Summit on Tobacco Control is now open.

The registration fee includes the Summit attendance and unlimited access to all content produced for the Summit. Registrants will be able to participate live in all sessions and Q&As, access to all speaker presentations, access to the partners dedicated areas and on-demand recordings of all sessions.

Registration Fees

*Reduced rate

Reduced rates are available for students or young professionals, nurses and low- and middle-income country residents.

• Students: All those in training are eligible for these rates. Delegates registered in this category will need to upload documented proof of enrolment in a University programme when completing their registration.
• Nurses: Delegates registered in this category will need to upload documented proof of being registered as a nurse when completing their registration.
• Low and lower-middle income country residents: Participants residing in countries classified by the World Bank as low or lower-middle income economies may attend the Leadership Summit on Tobacco Control at a reduced rate.The country list available on the registration platform is based on the WHO 194 Member States.

Sponsored Registration 

Low and lower middle-income registrants will have the opportunity to apply for a sponsored registration.  The registrant will be asked to write a 300 words motivation letter explaining how the work in the tobacco control field will contribute to ending tobacco epidemic.

Applicants who are not accepted for a sponsored registration will still be able to pay their registration with the same profile and benefit from the early registration fee.

Application submission closes on Friday, 30 July 2021 at 18:00 CET.

Group Registration 

Group registration is now available starting two or more registrants. To facilitate this type of registration a Group Coordinator should be assigned to enter all group members. Each member will receive an email to complete a “declaration and undertaking” form.

Group fees are similar to the individual fees. If you are a group of more than 50 members, please contact registration@theunion.org to benefit from a discounted rate.

Media Registration 

Journalists, videographers and community educators who are either employees of or on assignment for a recognised print, radio, broadcast or online consumer, medical, community-based or a recognised tobacco control or lung health service organisation-sponsored media outlet are eligible to apply for complimentary media registration.

Please note that for the purpose of media accreditation, the term, “community educator”, refers to anyone doing journalism for lung health service organisations (LHSOs) or other community-based media outlets.

Communications support professionals attached to a recognised tobacco control research, advocacy or policy organisation, whose work is directly related to supporting media coverage of presentations at the Leadership Summit on Tobacco Control: are not considered media and must register as a regular delegate. Media accreditation for this category is not guaranteed, but is granted on a case-by-case basis.
